Air Data chart

What are PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10?
- PM10 – Particulate matter smaller than 10 micrometers
(Dust, pollen, mold) - PM2.5 – Smaller than 2.5 micrometers
(Combustion particles, organic compounds, metals) - PM1.0 – Smaller than 1 micrometer
(Ultrafine particles from smoke, industrial emissions)
The smaller the particles, the deeper they can travel into your lungs and bloodstream, posing higher health risks.
⚠️ Why PM1.0 Matters
- PM1.0 particles are not filtered by your nose or throat.
- They can enter alveoli in the lungs and even the bloodstream.
- Associated with cardiovascular issues, inflammation, and neurological risks over long-term exposure.
